I was able to get a couple days off work last week and took advantage by joining my family on vacation. A road trip out to Colorado was a fantastic break to the hustle and bustle of Nashville!
Our first stop after they picked me up in Nashville was 5 hours north in St. Louis. This was the first time I had ever seen the arch when it wasn’t under construction! I got to experiment with some artsy angles of the structure. St. Louis was a nice pit stop to stretch our legs for a little while before continuing on to Kansas City.
Our first night on the road ended with a baseball game in KC. The Royals v. The Twins. My family and I are all baseball fans, so we try to fit in a game or two when we go on trips.
We made it to the house! The view from the front balcony was beautiful!
We spent the weekend hiking, exploring, and catching up on much needed sleep.
The night before my flight back to Nashville we caught a Colorado Rockies game to wrap up the trip.
I’m so glad I got a few days to spend some time with my family. If you’re ever looking for a place to go on vacation Colorado is a beautiful place to do it!
XOXO, Gab
